Singapore is een zeer populaire stad voor een stopover, maar je kunt hier gemakkelijk meerdere dagen doorbrengen. In dit bericht laat ik je mijn ervaring met de SIA hop-on hop-off bus zien, wat ideaal is als je niet veel tijd hebt om Singapore te verkennen.

De tip voor een stopover in Singapore
Voor een stopover in Singapore is de hop-on hop-off bus een geweldige manier. De bus brengt je naar alle interessante bezienswaardigheden in Singapore waar je in en uit kunt stappen. Je kan er ook voor kiezen om de eerste circuit te blijven zitten. Dit kan handig zijn als je een korte stopover hebt, maar op deze manier krijg je ook een goede eerste indruk van de stad.
Je kunt je kaartje kopen in de bus bij een van de vele bushaltes. Met je ticket kun je zo vaak als je wilt in- en uitstappen. Er zijn vier verschillende routes die je langs alle interessante bezienswaardigheden van Singapore brengt, zoals de winkelstraat Orchard Road, Orchidee tuin, reuzenrad Singapore Flyer, Arab Street en Chinatown.

Krijg een goede indruk van Singapore
We verbleven bijna een week in Singapore en namen de hop-on hop-off op onze eerste dag. De SIA hop-on hop-off gaf ons een goede indruk van de interessante plekken om later terug te gaan. Als je niet van wandelen houdt, is dit de beste manier om alle bezienswaardigheden te bekijken die de moeite waard zijn. Vooral als je Orchidee tuin wilt bezoeken, want de bus stopt bij de ingang. Voor mij was het de moeite waard om een kaartje te kopen en ik raad je aan om eerst aan boord te blijven en een circuit te doen, zo krijg je een goed beeld van Singapore en waar je wilt uitstappen. Als je met Singapore Airlines hebt gevlogen, moet je jouw instapkaart tonen wanneer je de busticket koopt. Hiermee krijg je korting!

We stayed in Singapore for almost a week and took the hop-on hop-off on our first day. The tour gave us a good impression of the interesting places to go back again later. If you don’t fancy walking, then this is the best way to see all the sights that are worth seeing. Especially if you want to visit Orchid Garden, as the bus stops at the entrance. For me it was worth buying a ticket and I recommend firstly just staying on board and doing a circuit. If you have flown Singapore Airlines, make sure you show your boarding pass when buy your ticket. It will give you a discount on the hop-on hop-off ticket.
