Best way to see Singapore in one day

Singapore is a very popular city for a stopover, but you can easily spend here several days. In my blogpost My photography and Instragram worthy places in Singapore I showed you the highlights. In this post I will show you my experience with the SIA hop-on hop-off bus which is ideal if you don’t have much time to explore Singapore.

The hop-on hop-off bus is a great way to explore the entire city. You can buy your ticket in the bus at one of the many busstops. With your ticket you can hop on and off the day as often as you like. There are four different routes so see the sights in Singapore. The stops include all interesting sights of Singapore, such as the shopping street Orchard Road, Orchid Garden, Singapore Flyer, Arab Street and Chinatown. We stayed in Singapore for almost a week and took the hop-on hop-off on our first day. The tour gave us a good impression of the interesting places to go back again later. If you don’t fancy walking, then this is the best way to see all the sights that are worth seeing. Especially if you want to visit Orchid Garden, as the bus stops at the entrance. For me it was worth buying a ticket and I recommend firstly just staying on board and doing a circuit. If you have flown Singapore Airlines, make sure you show your boarding pass when buy your ticket. It will give you a discount on the hop-on hop-off ticket.
